Executive Committee | Founding Board | Constitution What is EurSafe?EurSafe is a new, independent organisation, which provides a focal point for those who have a professional interest in the ethical issues involved in agriculture and food supply. The Society is an interdisciplinary, cross-cultural and non-partisan organisation. Structure of EurSafeThe European Society for Agricultural and Food Ethics was established in 1999. At the Second EurSafe Congress in Copenhagen the final draft of the Society’s Statutes were approved by members and the Society was formally established. Following the official resignation of the Founding Board (1999-2000), an Executive Committee of nine members was appointed to govern the society for a period of two years (2000-2002).
